UKI Invisalign Summit 2019
Smile 101 were delighted to have attended the UK’s First Invisalign Summit in London on Friday 11th October.
What is Invisalign?
Invisalign is the future of braces. It uses a Smart Track material which is clinically proven to improve control of tooth movement. It uses a state of the art 3D printing technology to custom make the aligners and uses ClinCheck technology to digitally map your Invisalign journey.
These braces are nearly invisible, which means that no one needs to know you are wearing them, unless you tell them of course! You can also keep your usual diet and they are removable, rather than the metal braces which you need to wear permanently and can not eat some foods.
The Future of Invisalign
From the moment you walked into The Grand Hotel, you knew it was going to be a spectacular day. International world renowned speakers attended from Vancouver, Hong Kong, Madrid, Spain and the UK. The room was filled with a wealth of experience, all there for the same reason, to support how AMAZING Invisalign really is.
Throughout the day, there were various speeches about the future of Invisalign and how we can improve our techniques in our practices.
Our Specialist Orthodontist Dr Sheila Chauhan gave a speech at the event. She talked about pilot study under Smile 101 and how to be more efficient with embracing digital technology and how to increase Invisalign awareness uptake and profit.
