Invisalign Open Day at Smile 101
On Saturday 25th January 2020 we held our first Open Day of the year. Everyone had been preparing on Friday afternoon; prosecco was bought, cheese and pineapple sticks were prepared, goodie bags were filled, and flowers were positioned for Saturday morning.
At 9:30am the first patient came through the door, and patients young and old flowed through the practice all day being educated on how Smile 101 can help them to achieve the smile they have always dreamed of.
Each patient was given a glass of prosecco on arrival and Hayley – our Patient Experience Co-ordinator – was on hand to answer any and all questions. They were then seen by Chelsea, our Treatment Co-ordinator, to talk through their main concerns with their teeth, what they would like to achieve from Smile 101 and what we can offer them, and then by our Specialist Orthodontist, Dr Sheila Chauhan. And this is where the fun begins.
Every patient’s teeth were scanned using our amazing iTero 3D scanner which creates a digital scan (no messy, uncomfortable impressions) in minutes. They were then shown a time-lapse of what her treatment would look like and the final outcome. On the way out of the practice, all patients were treated to a goodie bag.
