Sponsoring Windsor Boys School
We were delighted to sponsor a table at The Windsor Boys’ School Annual Dinner Dance on Saturday 7th December 2019.
The Windsor Boys’ School is an all-boys Academy in Windsor and, like many others, faces the challenge of reduced budgets but the need to continuously invest in their students.
The school were hoping to raise £15,000 but we are delighted to announce that a huge £22,000 was raised on the night. The money raised will be used to support extra-curricular activities including sports, societies and music and to support disadvantaged students to ensure equal opportunities. This is their major fundraising event of the year and all proceeds will be invested in the school.
Smile 101 were able to donate a raffle prize for the evening, which included a Phillips Sonicare Electric Toothbrush and one person was lucky enough to win £250 off their orthodontic treatment.
What is the difference between electric and manual toothbrushes?
Manual toothbrushes are less effective than electric toothbrushes at cleaning the teeth and removing plaque. With manual toothbrushes we brush side to side, whereas electric toothbrushes move in a circular motion to ensure that every part of the tooth is cleaned.
